Senior Executive (Admissions), External Affairs & Marketing

Job Purpose

 

The Senior Executive is responsible to implement an effective marketing & admissions strategy and plan to attract the Region’s best students for the School, so that we are able to prepare the future leaders in Asia to create better outcomes and improved governance for Asia.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Work with the Coordinating Head to implement a comprehensive marketing & admissions strategy for the region the Senior Executive is assigned to
  • With guidance, develop and proactively manage partnerships that will enable the school to build a steady and effective pipeline of eligible students
  • Seen as “go-to-market” expert for the region that the Senior Executive is responsible for, and to provide insights and field reports to Senior Management, Faculty and other departments about the education market as well as broader market insights that are relevant to the School
  • Direct and create relevant marketing materials for the region with the support of the Marketing & Communications Unit
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships for the region – including donors, academic community, corporate, alumni, prospective students and media
  • Manage resources such as budget and manpower
  • Work closely with professional staff, academics, Student Ambassadors and external stakeholders to achieve the strategic goals of the School
  • Possess a Degree in liberal arts, public administration, international / intercultural studies or an equivalent
  • Possess a minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience , preferably in international affairs, government relations, marketing or admissions
  • Possess prior working experience and understanding of working in markets of the ASEAN, South Asia or North Asia regions
  • Experienced in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in a professional setting
  • Possess knowledge in proofreading and financial record-keeping skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • An independent worker who is meticulous, self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgement
  • Ability to exercise peer leadership and informal team management when required
  • Willing to travel as regional and occasionally international travel would be expected
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
