Senior Executive, Strategic Planning

Job Purpose


The Senior Executive is responsible to provide administrative and corporate support to the Strategic Planning Department. This includes providing secretariat support to the key meeting platforms, assisting in the strategic planning process, administration of risk management and internal audit process. In addition, the Senior Executive is also required to assist in the knowledge management and document archival process for the Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Secretariat for the Organization’s Governing Board and Management Committee
  • Coordinate and manage the meeting agendas
  • Liaise with Board and Committee members and their Personal Assistants for meeting matters
  • Record the minutes and keep track of the follow-up actions required
  • Ensure that the administrative and logistical arrangements for the meetings are in order
  1. Assist in the strategic planning process
  • Assist in the formulation of the Organization’s 5 year strategic map
  • Assist in the implementation of the yearly corporate planning process at Organization and departmental levels which includes coordinating the submission of the Organization Work Plan
  • Assist in the monitoring of the work plan to ensure proper deployment of resources and KPI tracking
  1. Assist in the administration of risk management and internal audit process
  • Assist in the formulation of risk management framework
  • Assist in the tracking and monitoring of risk registers
  • Assist in the administration of internal audit process
  • Assist in the tracking and monitoring the follow-ups of the internal audit findings
  1. Ensure proper information management within the Strategic Planning Department
  • Select information and knowledge that are crucial to the functions of Strategic Planning and ensure a proper archival of this information
  • Make use of the information and knowledge to enhance the Organization’s planning processes and propose improvements, where relevant
  1. Other Duties
  • Involve in the Organization-wide strategic projects/initiatives, as required
  • Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned by the Head of Strategic Planning


  • Possess a Degree from a relevant discipline (or its equivalent)
  • Possess at least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience 
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An independent worker who is meticulous and diplomatic in handling internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Experience in staffing high-level meetings is preferred
